I work in a private school and I was going to say something similar but you said it far better than I.

I have a feeling some of the Gosselin kids have learning differences due to birth and or home difficulties. These kids may do better in a learning environment that is better suited for learning differences.

It was a tad garbled but it's from what I remember. I'm sure you could do better. Luckily ours stayed out of trouble. We are now in the throws of middle school and that has it challenges ... it's strict where we send ours and we WANT that. I escape the "fashion" nonsense with uniforms. It's worth it. We aren't "rich" but we manage.

People are getting the wrong impression and that is why I tried to explain how private schools typically work. It wasn't like Kate or Jon had NO CLUE on what their kids were up to. Or shocked that trouble was brewing in school. They had PLENTY of WARNINGS and CONFERNCES but OTHER THINGS were more important that their kids - so it escalated.

They probably thought WHO THEY THINK THEY ARE would take care of consequences. They were wrong. Other parents don't want that kind of behavior and pay a premium to GET AWAY FROM THESE KINDS OF KIDS!

That's another thought ... learning difficulties ... but I suspect it might also be their messed up home life. Even kids that have learning difficulties are NOT usually violent and foul mouthed. This is more of a parental issue and typically from neglect.

I suspect these kids are angry, looking for attention and going about it in the wrong way. Unresolved divorce issues probably haunt them too. These are just kids and with how ugly the "adults" were ... kids pick up on that. There is no love lost between Kate and Jon, from what I recall.

I truly can't imagine that Kate is sweet mouthed at all times around her kids. She has a sharp tongue. The foul language probably came from Jon and Kate. In any event, the show needs to be cancelled and attention spent on the kids and get them in line. At some point Kate in particular has to BE the mom she claims she is. As fo Jon, who knows what to say about him. It's a sad situation.
