EDITORIAL: Forcing Holder out-Respected officials call for attorney general's resignation
Washington Times ^ | November 26, 2010

Posted on 11/26/2010 6:16:59 AM PST by maggief

The calls have begun for Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr.'s resignation. Potential Republican presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty both took that position last weekend in response to last week's embarrassing result in the trial of Guantanamo terrorist detainee Ahmed Khalfan Ghailiani. Mr. Gingrich and Mr. Pawlenty won't be the only prominent politicos reaching the conclusion that Mr. Holder is unfit for the office he holds.

EXCERPT

Reading tea leaves: Former San Francisco Supervisor Michael Yaki, a onetime aide to now-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, has resurfaced at City Hall in recent weeks as a lobbyist for downtown retailer Barneys. But maybe he has more on his mind.

In a new posting on Facebook, Yaki said he had just moved into District 6 - that’s the one where Chris Daly is being termed out this year - and “a dozen people asked me if I was running for supervisor again.”

“Seriously, you can’t go home again,” Yaki said. “But to say that I’m not mulling over a run for office would be a, ahem, lie.”

Well, what city job is bigger than supervisor? We can think of at least one.

Hold Holder Accountable for Willful Malfeasance of office and Subornation of Justice.

Get all of his Toadies and Synchophants too. Their final stop should be Leavenworth Prison for a lengthy stay inside it.

EDITORIAL: Obama wrong on immigration, Panthers
The Democrats’ Justice Department coddles lawbreakers
By THE WASHINGTON TIMES

The Obama administration is terminally confused about the role of local law enforcement. Or worse, it’s purposely hypocritical.

In one case, the administration argues that the federal government should defer to a local cop who is untrained in federal law and doesn’t attempt to enforce it. In another case, it says a state may not enable local cops to enforce the exact provisions of federal law. In both cases, federal law goes unenforced. Yet the administration claims completely contradictory justifications for nonenforcement: in the first, by deferring to local authority and in the second, by denying local authority.

But, but....I thought that the trial of the terrorist worked out OK. I mean, even though he almost judged inocent against all the charges, we are assured that the gubmint won't ever release him.

If that doesn't prove our court system works is a facade of justice, I don't know what is.

I guess to make up for not releasing him, a bunch of run of the mill murderers will have to be let go to preserve the balance.

I find it particularly scary that the Justice department can decide that the trial meant nothing and, despite the results, a person can be held indefinitley after getting a finite sentence. Who's next....you....me?

Monday, 22 Nov 2010

Michael Yaki, a commissioner who is a Democrat, stormed out of a previous Commission vote but returned for Friday’s committee vote.

Yaki didn’t vote to approve the report and called it “illegimate.”

The report was called an interim draft after a few changes were made to a document that was leaked online on the Web site Talking Points Memo.

Yaki was also the senior advisor to Nancy Pelosi, the former Speaker of the House, for seven years. In 2005, he was appointed to the commission by Pelosi.

Yaki told reporters two weeks ago week report was “cooked” by the panel’s majority to “lay an indictment against the Obama administration.”

(snip)

The Washington Post speculated on Wednesday that Attorney General Eric Holder may get the first GOP subpoena of the new year in the New Black Panther case.

Holder isn’t the root cause of the problem.

Certainly he is racist and cares less about equality of the law, but the root problem sits in the White House as a Fake President.

Look at all of the rest of his appointees, Are they any more qualified for their jobs than Holder is for his?

They are all bad.

Because the man who appointed them is bad.The problem is the non-vetted incompetent in the White House.

Not hard to speculate who the source of the leak. Wonder if an ex-boss suggested a leak to undermine the report. A check, followed by a checkmate by the USCCR. (IMO) LOL! SO much for the Nonpartisan USCCR! But we knew that. :-)

That’s what Rush says about all of Obama’s appointments.

Eric Holder IS Obama.

When Holder was working for the defense of terrorists, then became Attorney General, he just kept acting like the defense attorney for terrorists. If this isn’t treason, it sure is close.

E. Holder is a clown. Is he really this stupid or is he trying to harm this country?

I agree with the call to Impeach Eric (the Red-As in Communist) Holder But I question if the Ruling Class recognize either name presented in this post.I thought Democrats only recognize the “real power of the White House(and then ONLY when they control the White House) Everyone else-except the
rising stars in the Communist Part(Democrat—same same Freudian slip) or those with money-or power to help their guy
prosecute his lust.Count.
