IIRC it was only a few months ago the Chinese vehemently protested our joint military excercise in the Yellow Sea, and Hussein called it off. Now we have the North Koreans assaulting South Korea once again claiming basically the same reason.

Without the Chinese support the N.K. regime would not stand.

Makes me doubt this is strictly a N.Korean show to establish Kid Newbie on his Daddy’s throne.

I think this wreaks of Chinese influence personally.

What say you?

You may be right. China may have decided that with a weak and indecisive US President at the helm..... that now is their best chance to move on Taiwan..... without us
doing anything quickly to stop it.

And they would probably be right in that assumption. In
two years they may get a US President with real balls.

Seriously, you know China’s been keeping score for a long time, and you know they don’t take kindly to Obama lecturing them on manipulating their currency. This has China written all over it.
