This administration wants to fine you, and possibly charge you with a federal crime if you try to stop its agents from fondling your junk, but it has sued in court to prevent enforcement of a law that would enable police to ask passengers in a car for evidence that they are legally here. What else is there to say?
The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there arent enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? Whats there in that for anyone?
But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted and you create a nation of law-breakers and then you cash in on guilt. Now thats the system, Mr. Reardon, thats the game, and once you understand it, youll be much easier to deal with." (Atlas Shrugged 1957)

I’ve been emailing about 14 senators a day for the past week or so (I know, they probably don’t even look at them but I feel better).
I remind them that the officers in the Third Reich used “only following orders” as their defense, just as the TSA employees are now. In the end their actions are/were still a crime.
