Was it a disaster when Obama claimed there were 57 states?

Is this a rhetorical question? Of course not. The liberal MSM idolized Obama. But this is Sarah Palin. She is shark bait. The liberal MSM will have a feeding frenzy. Mr. Tingles will be frothing at the mouth. Arianna Huffington will be having multiple organisms.

My point was that it is not a disaster that we will NEVER be able to support a conservative candidate who is not subject to committing human error. It is a given that the media will attack those who both threaten their socialist agenda and who make errors.

It's not a disaster. It's not reasonable to expect Romney, Huckabee, or Demint to do any better, nor do I believe that they would do any better.

You can count on the media to use their propaganda to select the Republican candidate that they WANT to run against. I think they realize that they DON'T want to run against Palin.

Their biases were obvious during the Republican primaries leading up to the 2008 election. The media drooled over the war-hero, "maverick" McCain. That is who they wanted selected and he was selected. As soon as he was selected, the liberal media could see no value in having the war-hero, "maverick" in the White House. I, for one, would never have selected McCain because I know of no single principle to which he is dedicated, including any support for those pesky Amendments in the Bill of Rights.
