In September, Velma Hart told President Obama she was exhausted from defending his policies.
At a town hall, she said,
"I'm one of your middle class Americans. And quite frankly, I'm exhausted. Exhausted of defending you, defending your administration, defending the mantle of change that I voted for," a woman told the President, as he smiled and appeared to giggle.
"My husband and I have joked for years that we thought we were well beyond the hot dogs and beans era of our lives, but, quite frankly, it's starting to knock on our door and ring true that that might be where we're headed again, and, quite frankly, Mr. President, I need you to answer this honestly. Is this my new reality?"
Now, it seems she has another reason to hope for real change, instead of "hot dogs and beans".
According to an article at The Blaze, Hart was recently laid off from her position as the Chief Financial Officer for Am Vets, a Maryland-based veteran services organization.
Jim King, executive director of Am Vets, told the Washington Post Hart was laid off in a move to help the organization's bottom line. "She got bit by the same snake that has bit a lot of people. It was a move to cut our bottom line, he said.

Oh, she learned and learned well.
He made sure she got a shellacking for daring to question the won.
Something is strange here. Large organizations don't just 'lay-off' CFO's. Interesting that this happened shortly after her taking Obama to task.
Chief Executive : Joseph T. Piening, Executive Director
Compensation*:
$159,303
Its safe to say she made less than $159k
But that's ok, 'cause he's a democrat and his daddy was black.
You're right. I wouldn't be surprised if the thug-in-chief had something to do with her termination.

I think I would stop giving money to them if they employed idiots like her.
I wonder if she was “exhausted” when Bush was President?
I know charities and everyone else were a lot better off then. Her former employer could afford to keep deadwood idiots like her on the paytroll.
“She supported Obama in 2008, then things got tough.
She took on Obama, but then backtracks and supports Obama.
She loses her job, she still supports Obama.
Battered wife VOTER syndrome. Hard for me to feel sorry for her.”
What goes around comes around!
Correction, Velma Hart did not vote for a slogan and she did not vote with her brain, she voted because of race!!! Big mistake!!! End of story!!!
“at least she worked for a living and was not openly looking for someone to pay her mortgage and car payment”
Well said. And at least she asked him a TOUGH question, a question no mainstream media drone would have asked.
I give her a lot of credit for that.
Looks like she got her change.
People like her is where the republicans could run the best social experiement ever. Run a black conservative in the primaries - THAT DOES NOT MEAN ALLAN KEYES! Get JC Watts or Lynn Swann and watch the blacks flock to them like flys on poop. It’s all about supporting one of their own, but unfortunately most don’t look past skin color.
You say that as if you think there might be some connection.
