For what it’s worth, I didn’t see obenyo’s post as an attack on us?
Are they really sticking their hands down people’s underpants nowadays, or is it like it’s shown on TV, where they feel the inner thighs up to the groin area, or are they genuinely touching genitals? I’m getting mixed info on what they’re doing, and some of it is probably bogus.
And is it true that they’re only doing the invasive stuff if somebody actually sets off the metal detector?
There was a thread on it and yes, this qualifes are thuggish and perverted.

I think the policy is that if people refuse the scanner they get the *pat down*.
And the safety or effectiveness of the scanners has not been established either.
