The former mayor, the idiot Bill White and the current mayor, Mayor Licket-D-Split both believe in shielding the illegals. Houston has too much of Mexico in it.
Hopefully the Texas legislature will pass a law like Arizona did and we can get some of the gangsters from south of the border out of town.
