Americans quite understandably get the general view of Canadians possibly from a liberal infested media. Up until a few years ago, the dissenting Canadian did not have a chance, unless happening to go one on one with an American who would listen. We have a feisty little blog site which has the statement. "They(media) say what Canadians think"- in all that time they have never asked me.
Please excuse the rant but I must indicate more. During the last presidential election, the two tax payer funded monoliths in television CTV and more so CBC, openly and shamelessly shilled for Barack Obama. This with 80,000 American expats who had the right to vote in that election. An absolute ethical crime, if not downright against the rules.
That time they did not call Americans stupid. Indeed no. As of late, they do not seem to be throwing their underwear at the winning candidate. No, they are concentrating on the Republicans in a dismissive way, 'specially Sarah.
