The United Nations Security Council could hold an emergency meeting in the next day or two over the attack, saying "It's in the works for either today or tomorrow. We are for it and planning is ongoing," Reuters reports.

UPDATE:

However, the United Nations Security Council will probably put off holding the emergency meeting until after the American Thanksgiving holidays. A UNSC spokesman mentions...

"Out of respect, we hesitate to intrude on Thanksgiving, one of America's most important holidays. We feel confident that the celebration of freedom and giving in America far outweighs this minor disturbance in the Koreas. And then, we should probably consider that Christmas is not too far around the corner. Not to mention New Years Eve/Day. With all of this occuring in the near future, it could be as late as next year before we actually get to having a meeting concerning the...ur...what were we talking about again?"

So let me get this straight.... There is a potential crisis developing overseas, but since a holiday is coming up, they are going to wait??? Look I’m for all celebrating holidays as the next guy, but I think trying to defuse a crisis from getting worse is more important imho...
