"Middle East Peace Process" is the most moronic of all oxymorons. Some idiots really believe that forcing or bribing a couple of politicians to sign a peace of paper means something. That it will stop the hatred and killing that's been endemic there for thousands of years. Your tax dollars squandered again.

I believe the author is mistaken. We cannot be offering $3 billion in aircraft just for a 90 day construction freeze. Something else must be going on, such as, after the 90 days some kind of imposition will be made, or some kind of demand or formal proposal put on the table. It doesn’t add up that we would pay $1 billion a month just to stop construction, no other strings attached... then again, perhaps the idea is to see, hey, if they will stop for $1B a month how much to stop indefinitely?
