I don't know where you got your information about the Cheonan. The South Koreans have been saying for months that it was a North Korean torpedo, while Pyongyang has denied it.

About blowing up the sewage system in Pyongyang, well the South Korea could have done any time in the past decade. But they haven't because the risk of artillery shells raining over Seoul is too real. The North Korean regime doesn't care about Pyongyang while the South Koreans do care about their capital. As I said before, this is a game of brinkmanship which China and North Korea have played for more than 15 years and have succeeded in keeping the US and its allies on their toes.

Just doing a quick check through the news. Early on after the sinking (same day in fact) there were "news" reports speculating on a NK sinking. That was back in April. The government dwadled, and then in November issued a FINAL REPORT. But that was long after the NK had "made signals" (as the State Department geeks say) that they'd actually sunk it "so there".

It's all very traditionally Korean.

But wasn't Young Leader's son just made General the other day? Hey, he needs something to redeem honor so there go the guns.

Again, the South Koreans will smack these pukes flat ~ one way or the other.
