Mac got fired. I had several relatives in the Pacific during WWII and Korea. None of them like Mac. The ones in Europe thought their commanders could walk on water.
I understand your comments re: Gen. MacArthur. However, in the case of dealing with NK and the Chinese, I believe he was correct and had he been allowed to do what needed to be done, many American lives would have been saved...as to how it would have all come down with the Chinese, only a higher being would be able to know.
