Hang on.....

*rubbing my eyes*

Is this some kind of mistranslation or am I seeing things?

....................

"Reckless attacks on South Korean civilians are not tolerable, especially when South Korea is providing North Korea with humanitarian aid," the president said. "As for such attacks on civilians, a response beyond the rule of engagement is necessary. Our military should show this through action rather than an administrative response" such as statements or talks, he added. "Given that North Korea maintains an offensive posture, I think the Army, the Navy and the Air Force should unite and retaliate against (the North's) provocation with multiple-fold firepower," Lee said. "I think enormous retaliation is going to be necessary to make North Korea incapable of provoking us again."

Interesting, looks like the fan is about to hit the dung.

Stay frost y’all there, reminds me when Israel was being attacked by SCUDS, had a friend I was communicating on the web with when it was happening.

North Korea cannot maintain a state of readiness for long. Their economy is too weak to support the fuel and rations needed along with getting ill-maintained equipment up to readiness.

I guess we'll see. Recent history suggests a very different reaction. They didn't do anything when their ship and 46 sailors were destroyed. Why would two marines and some houses make a difference?

You got the latest version of his rhetoric. As I said, he made very inappropriate remark initially and now scramble to contain the damage. Now he turned himself into a bona-fide war-monger.:-)
