Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Really cute dance! She got all 9’s. Not one 10.
Very disappointing.
Can you believe the pressure she performed under last night?
No, I can’t imagine, and to remember that she is only 20 or 21. Unbelievable. She cut from the same strong stuff as her mom and dad. Good, honest, hard working people, with faith in God.
I’m sorry, but are you incapable of understanding the free enterprise system?
ABC wants people to watch DWTS. They look about for someone or several someones who might attract viewers. They call Bristol. They were right. She attracted viewers... me, for example.
They wanted to keep her on as long as possible but it was made possible by her enormous popularity and her fantastic improvement as a dancer and her unaffected charm.
So, well wolfstar, you should learn about capitalism sometime in your spare time and stop acting so above it all.
Thanks! I was searching the net last night and this morn trying to find the dances.
She did very good, hit the steps with emotion!
It’s been a joy watching her blossom from having no dance experience to this.
The girl’s got grit!
What about the people at ABC that are using Bristol to boost ratings? The producers of DWTS knew who was going to be eliminated and they could have chosen any of the performers to stand against Brandy in the bottom. They purposely chose Bristol and had the cameras trained to get audience reactions. Controversy = ratings. They also failed to point out that Brandy didn't just get outvoted by Bristol, the supposedly best dancer got outvoted by everybody else too. So if you are seeing things spiral out of control it was done on purpose and not by political junkies. The DWTS producers played this up like a cheap fiddle, and it sounds like you fell for it.
YES!
I love picturing that spunky punkin, trucking her way down to Hollywood all the way from Alaska!
She certainly is "cut from the same strong stuff as her mom and dad."
Great post! I don’t usually watch DWTS, but I tuned in last night and thought Bristol did a fantastic job. Yes, Jennifer Grey is amazing, but I’m rooting for Bristol.
Like her mom said on Sunday on Sarah Palin’s Alaska: “It will get the liberals all wee-wee’d up.” LOL!
I found another interesting article, but also sickening, in some ways. Apparently, some idiots in the media booth "boo" at Bristol.... libtards.

TONIGHTS LEADER BOARD TOTALS:
Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: 30 + 30 = 60
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 27 + 29 = 56
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 27 + 25 = 52
Tuesdays season 11 finale will send one couple home early on, leaving the final two couples to dance two dances their favorite ballroom dance and a new Instant Dance to a Cha Cha Cha.
Yeah right /s
LOL I didn't "fall" for anything. I am not defending Palin (she's a lousy dancer). I am saying that people who are voting for her to get back at the left are using Palin. I can see ABC doing it - it's their job. But here on FR we are supposed to be above using people for our own gratification. Sorry if it bothers you that I have expressed that in words.
What I didn’t think about before was that Grey would get most of Brandy’s votes. So we don’t vote tonight. Guess they will win in same order, Jen, Kyle, Bristol. Kyle is an actor and has succeeded with the “personality” thing. I am kind of glad Bristol didn’t learn how to be a conveyor of pretenses.
Oh, c'mon! Aren't you being a bit - realistic? Being on FR means you have to ignore YOUR opinion and simply agree with the Palin Protectorate.
I have not voted and don’t intend to because I don’t really have that much invested in this, and also because I’d have trouble telling good dancing from average dancing.
That said, anyone who thinks the left-bots aren’t out voting in force for anyone other than Bristol Palin isn’t being honest. It’s probably true that you need the votes of the Palinistas to balance the votes of the Lib-bots.
That leaves the truly knowledgeable people casting the deciding ballots.
In short, it will all work out in the end. :>)
