Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Not at all. It's not even criticism, but observable fact.
I watched and voted for Bristol... numerous times! ;-)
“Not at all. It’s not even criticism, but observable fact. “
So, you consider stating that another human being “is incapable” of showing emotion, is an “observable fact”?
It may not sit well with you, but, consider that others may find your opinions to be just that - opinions - as opposed to “fact”. Remember, no matter how much you aggressively body-slam your opinion in others’ faces, that will not change “opinion” to “fact”. Just observing....
In a performing context, yes. You don't need to believe me. In the privacy of your own home and mind, just take a look at her performances -- operative word here being PERFORMANCES. If you're capable of being honest with yourself, you'll see the issue with her performances.

Like I said, she's a trouper and brave for taking on the challenge. She's done fine considering. But it is also a fact that she has no talent for showing/projecting emotion for the music or meaning of the dance. She is wooden and often blank, like a dance version of a karaoke singer.
“They chose Bristol for her name, to bait her mother’s fans into watching”
Do you have inside knowledge of that? Because if you don’t you are just speculating. You are assuming that every vote for Bristol was a vote to stick it to a liberal. You have no way of knowing that.
It’s more likely that the producers chose her thinking it would bring the Palin haters to the show. You know how those liberals are. They think of course everyone thinks the same way that they do. Everyone hates the Palins right? It worked that way with Kate Gosselin. I think they are genuinely shocked that she wasn’t scorned like Gosselin was.
In one way this backfired on them. Instead of sending Palin home fans voted in droves and kept her on the show.
You have missed the importance of this. While it may only be a reality show it sent a message to the liberals. That message is that there are more of us than there are of them. There was more to this than perhaps making liberals explode. This in itself may not move mountains but it’s showing that conservatives are starting to fight back. It’s a good thing. Collectively, it could change the history of the country. Call it a good pep rally. It motivated people.
Liberals have been taking punches at us from every angle using television, movies, talk shows and reality shows to push their agenda and take potshots at Christians and the right. So we took President Obama’s advice and we punched back. Three times as hard. It may have put a few extra bucks into the producer’s pockets but I’d say it was money well spent.
You are right about one thing however. Some cattle practically herd themselves. The question is who was baited and herded? Perhaps it was those that have been convinced by the left’s caulterwailing that some kind of injustice has occurred here. Or perhaps it is the liberals themselves who fell victim to the group think that of course, everyone hates a Palin. As a result they sat on their behinds and didn’t vote.
Maybe next time the left decides to put a conservative on their show in order to humiliate them they’ll think twice.
As much as you may want to look down your nose at pop culture Sarah Palin had a point tonight when she appeared on Sean Hannity’s show. This is the world we live in. DWTS has a huge viewership with people who may never be exposed to our ideas and only hear the negative propaganda about conservatives from the leftist media. You need to step outside of our comfort zone and not be content to just preach to the choir. This can be accomplished in many ways.
I think it is brilliant that we have discovered how to work around them and come from behind. Boy they didn’t even see that coming did they?
What did it accomplish? I think there may be a lot of people who perhaps were not that politically motivated to now see Bristol Palin in a new light. She did represent us on that show. And I think she did a fine job of doing so. We rewarded her with our votes.
I believe we got quite a deal for our money. In my opinion, Bristol illustrated not only the spirit of the show but the conservative work ethic. She illustrated guts and determination under fire. We got a twofer and gave the lefties a good ol punch to the gut at the same time.
Idiots and fools being baited and herded? I see it as a brilliant move!
Voting online is working now, at least on my end.
So, if ya haven’t gotten your votes in, whomever they may be for, might want to try now or later this AM.
I wouldn’t know a good dance from a bad dance.
I’ve got 2 left feet with a spare in the trunk.
Hi nutmeg!
I just managed to vote online!
GOOD on you!!!
Well stated, conservativegranny! I will add that a survey reported last week that DWTS is a Republican viewer show, whereas Dexter is viewed by democrats, so this idiotic talk about “herding cattle” is just that: idiotic and ill-mannered. I can’t name one advertiser of the show, so the sponsors are lost on me.
Bristol gained a lot of fans and with her dancing and her bravery. All good, except for the death threats which came from the rabid Left haters who took the show to a level where it doesn’t belong. We’ve had great fun here all season and enjoyed ourselves, watching and rooting for Bristol.
To say that she can’t dance or doesn’t enjoy herself is nonsense. The girl *can* move and she’s come “a long way baby”!
YES! I just got my online votes cast.
Finally.
LOL. I enjoyed all of the dances tonight.
Bristol the Pistol and Mark did their very best.
She didn’t deserve the two 8’s. (I think) judges were harsh in anticipation of votes they think she’ll get....and that sux.
Heck, I even gave Kyle one of my five online votes just now.
I’d never watched it before, so I turned it on and saw the beginning of the first program when a friend rang the doorbell. By the time we finished talking, the show was done except for the announcements about where to call.
Nonetheless, those who characterize Palin as a “terrible” dancer are suffering PDS. She did fine.
As an “only with a gun to my head” dancer at weddings when they play the very, very, very slow music, I thought she was just fine. The few glimpses I saw of the others said they were just fine, too.
Who was better? It sure wasn’t me. :>)
How can you vote before they’ve even competed? I mean that’s retarded..... :-)
Kind of agree with. Didn’t get to watch the show tonight, except for Jennifer’s free style at the end which was over the top and shaky.
SHe may be a pro dancer, but she’s 50 years old. It’s a formidable things she’s done.
When you watch her though, you realize how much Derek makes her look good, kind of like Lacy making Kyle look great.
So, having said that, I think you have to take into consideration where they started and where they ended. If you couldn’t theoretically win, and be an amateur why invite the person on the show.
I mean let’s face it folks. If they could have planted VAn der hoot on the show he’d be there.
Bristol and Kyle are in the enviable position of succeeding by just showing up....
I missed the comps tonight, so I’m reading the posts here, and savoring it.
Have no idea how anyone did.
Jennifer is 50 years old....definitely an accomplishment. I think all three are winners.
Is Jennifer going to do, “The Time of My Life?” It will bring the house down.
It’s not about the best dancer. It’s more than that.
THe skater APollo, is that his name, was incredibly good last year, and won.
I think the winners thus far are the ones who should win.
I think Jennifer should win. All things considered. If you get the best scores from the judges you should win.
I think Brandy was outstanding.
Bristol could have been canned last week, and still been a winner in everyone’s book.
If she wins now, the win is tainted in my opinion.
I meant come on folks....People are voting for her without even seeing her dancing? That’s sick...
Anyway, I’m back to reading the posts, and savoring it... :-)
I was thinking the same thing. Is the competition over? Do they dance again tomorrow?
Yeah, she did, and to tell you the truth it was her undoing. I mean she had that little beak....that little Jewish Beak that was really cute. You could close your eyes and picture. Now you close your eyes and what do you see?
She was the sister in Ferris Bueller wasn’t she? Again the beak made her stand out.
Ladies....don’t cut off your beaks to spite your face.... Or something like that....
Woke up thinking: AS much as Mark has done for Bristol as a teacher and involving her in his activities. (She's watch his band perform and attended his mother's fund raising birthday party.) Plus he seems to champion her on and off the dance floor; why haven't any of the Palin’s publicly thanked him.....It just seems so out of character.
He obviously get along with “the big fun family”. He's visited them twice in Alaska and even gave a shout out to Sarah in his journal and mentioned them visiting “mummy” in his set trailer. As I said it just seems out of character.
