Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

I reduced them to below 900 by xxx which I thought would have been smaller on the screen than the way they appear on this thread.
Usually I do 800 by xxx (smaller) for posting on the www.
Glad you like them, hoosiermama!
Wolfstar, any abuse you feel you have suffered here, you have brought on yourself and you know it.
You came on a thread created by and for people who love the show and love Bristol.
You immediately began making contrary and annoying remarks?
Why would you do that?
And when people respond, which we should not do, we should ignore you, you are all ... of you’re mean, boo hoo.
First, like so many, you put your own spin on another person's words. I said the general public fears excess on both the Right and Left. I didn't limit my comment just to government.
"Government" is, itself, a very broad word. What level? Any? So I'm asking myself if I should take your bait, give you some answers, and watch with amusement as the discussion goes even farther afield. Well, in for a penny, in for a pound.
Some excesses of the Right in government in the 20th Century:
The 18th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was an excess of the Right. So much of an excess, in fact, that it had to be repealed by the 21st Amendment.Signing the The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 was -- and granted, this one is my opinion -- an excess of the Right since President Reagan was definitely of the Right.
Using the U.S. Congress to get involved in the Terri Schiavo case was another governmental excess of the Right.
Since you didn't limit your demand to only the U.S. government, the Mussolini and Pinochet regimes were examples of Right-wing dictatorships. (Most historians classify Nazism as of the Right, but I disagree since, by definition, the movement's name is National SOCIALISM.)
One could argue that Islamic governments run by fundamentalist clerics are Right-wing since the Left has always tended to, at best, find religion repugnant. At worst, the Left represses religion.
Huh?! Who said anything about Sarah Palin? Scratching my head wondering, yet again, if the problem is reading comprehension or willfully spinning another's words incorrectly.
Hahaha, I don't feel any abuse whatsoever. You're the person who huffed and puffed about my presumed loveless life, hehehehe. As for me, I relish the discussion.
Now how are they going to get out of this ....give three plastic mirrored trinkets?
THey all make the same amount of money. No bonus for the winner. As I said the other evening. Bristol and Mark should just cede to Jennifer and say "We won the biggest best prize.....the time we've spent (Or will spend) together!
Did appreciate the pictures Syncro....Thanks.
Wolfstar, in case you don't know it, is from the Constellation Lupus, The Wolf. It is a star name, not one intended to convey fierceness. I like star names. As for Evening Star, that person and I are not related or associated in any way.
NO, I haven’t spotted that thread! I had some things to do and left my computer for a while.
I knew something was wrong because the idol-dial vote never changed from 10:00PM Central last night!
Well, that sux...lol. What the heck is the show going to do? The votes from last night and through 11:00AM are supposed to count as half the score.
This is entertainment!!!! The show must go on!
LOVE IT!
You haven’t had this much fun since your last bar fight, have you?
So will the judges try to throw it or will they just throw in the towel?
Do you know which dances they are doing to night. Mama bear is on her way to a book signing in AZ. Apparently they didn’t think Pistol would be in the finals either. Scheduled her book release the same day of the finals.
Maybe Papa Bear will be in the audience again with Mark’s dad ;~)
One big happy family.
Why thank you so much conservativegranny, how nice of you to say so.
FreeperBeaters are like a broken toy, you keep playing with it thinking it will be fun.
~ : >} )
Please ping me if there is anyway to see the dances after the show. I will be going out to dinner with our son and have no way to tape the show.
Go Palin!!!
Hahahaha, that's funny. Don't know if you meant it humorously or as a barb, but it is funny. Particuarly since I've never been a drinker. Hate the taste of all alcoholic beverages. I might have one or two drinks a year, if that much, and only in social gatherings. Don't know when I've last been to a bar. Has to be decades ago, unless you count being seated for dinner in the bar area in a restaurant.
Don't smoke either. Never got the logic of it. We all have our vices and I certainly have mine, but drinking and smoking aren't two of them. Too bad in a way, because they say a glass of red wine once a day is good for you. I just can't stand the taste of the stuff.
Yeah, right.
Wolfstar are you on the right thread? Rush loves tweaking the left, duh. He started this last week when the heads starting exploding. I love it. I hope that you find something else to do before 9, we really enjoy our DWTS threads when there is no Palin bashing.
Actually, that's not true. The first page is full of posts from Palin supporters about how voting for Palin will get under the skin of the lefties with all kinds of references to the "dems".
You are right altura. We should not respond. But I got bored after the show last night waiting for the results show tonight.
I will promise to shun the party poopers once the results show starts:)
Maybe they can find a nice football thread somewhere to rain on.
