SEATTLE (AP) — Boeing Co. said Monday it has agreed to acquire Summit Aeronautics Group, a Montana manufacturer of titanium and other hard metal structures for commercial and military aircraft.

Financial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Interesting. Boeing has been making moves around vertical integration over the last few years.

Summitt’s niche is high precision titanium machining. For a period in 2005 and 2006, they were the number 1 mover of titanium on the planet.
