When a San Diego man opted out of security screening using the Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) at Lindbergh Field Friday, he stripped down to his underwear in an attempt to avoid the pat-down procedures.
Samuel Wolanyk took the protest started Nov. 13 by Oceanside's John Tyner to a whole new level. While Tyner videotaped his refusal to be patted down, telling the agent "If you touch my junk, I'll have you arrested," Wolanyk decided to give TSA a look at his body down to his Calvin Klein's.
Through a statement released by his attorney Sunday night, Wolanyk said "TSA needs to see that I'm not carrying any weapons, explosives, or other prohibited substances, I refuse to have images of my naked body viewed by perfect strangers, and having been felt up for the first time by TSA the week prior (I travel frequently) I was not willing to be molested again."
Wolanyk's attorney said that TSA requested his client put his clothes on so he could be patted down properly but his client refused to put his clothes back on. He never refused a pat down, according to his attorney. Wolanyk was arrested for refusing to complete the security process and for recording the incident on his iPhone, according to his attorney.
San Diego has played a central role in the debate over the need for AIT machines in our nation's airports. From Tyner's videotape and U.S. Rep. Bob Filner's call for a Congressional hearing, to the parody song penned by Poway musician and Grammy-winner Steve Vaus. This Wednesday, one group is asking Americans to opt out of the AIT machines.

Right. It takes the thrill out of it for the TSA perverts if it's just bared all at once!
is there any word on what TSA is doing about Muslim women???
I would strip naked and run through the whole airport screaming “I’m not a terrorist” and then get on the airplane butt neked.
“Wolanyk was arrested for refusing to complete the security process and for recording the incident on his iPhone, according to his attorney. “
This is no longer a “free country.” Anybody who says so is an idiot. It is now a police state, with the government forcing its wishes on the public through force.
Silly person. Then YOU would be arrested for indecent exposure. You need the government to give you authorization for that kind of conduct. /sarc
It is standard procedure for criminals to be strip searched before admission to prison. The purpose is not merely to search for weapons and drugs, but to humiliate the prisoner by removing his socializing attributes in order to destroy his identity and make him more easily governed. These are the tactics the state is now using against ordinary citizens. It is no accident that the TSA requires subjects to lift their arms in the surrender position while in the radiation scanner.

Post of the YEAR
The solution is simple - don’t fly. If a few bankrupt airlines don’t put the country into an uproar, then what will? The public isn’t currently angry enough to command politicians’ respect.
This all about control. TSA wants to prove they can make you do anything they want when you fly. It's that simple.
Napolitano Considering Allowing Muslim Women to Pat Themselves Down at Airports
I’ve been saying I want a bunch of nudists to go to the airport and strip down.
I also want some couples, same sex and hetero, to start making out and feeling each other up. When security asks them to stop they can say, “We’re just trying to get heated up for you guys. This will help prevent us from going postal on your asses.”
But there are still the candya** liberals who think the more intrusion the better and they will still fly.
Why is there a law against recording incidents with an iPhone? How does that enhance security at airports?
Turning the innocent into criminals and terrorist and the criminals and terrorists into innocents.
>>The solution is simple - dont fly.<<
That is exactly why TSA and Big Sis are pushing this. If we have no freedom of movement, it is easier to control the masses. Think of it this way, which is easier, shooting the enemy massed in front of you - OR - shooting at dispersed enemy in the woods?
We had better wake up soon, or we’ll all be slaves.

Subject: Full body scanners
The Russians are developing an airport security device that eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners at the airports.
They have a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you,but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you.
They see this as a win-win for everyone, and there would be none of this junk about racial profiling.
This method would also eliminates the costs of a long and expensive trial. Justice would be quick and swift. Case Closed!
This is so simple...that it's brilliant. I can see it now. You're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion. Shortly thereafter an announcement comes over the PA system,"Attention standby passengers - we now have a seat available on flight number _____".

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, SIMPLE AND EFFECTIVE. Cost of a small bunker, clean up supplies, shouldn't be too expensive. (it is just an email, Russians?????), yet it has some merit.
Works for me
Technologically infeasible, and a trite email that has been repeated 100 times here this week.
Sorry.
TSA didn’t want to bypass the fore play segment
