Ms. Schlussel, a well-known conservative with an interest in Islam, speculates that she may have been shut out for having slammed Paramounts documentary critique of the public education system, Waiting for Superman. On Oct. 8, Ms. Schlussel asked in a review whether anybody really believed that the well-parented, highly intelligent, behaviorally intact children portrayed in Waiting for Superman were typical of inner city kids. Only if you are a moron, she wrote, in her typically take-no-prisoners fashion. And thats how Id describe anyone who buys into this movie.
After that, said Ms. Schussel, she became haraam. That would be Arabic, for not permitted.

Apparently one other thing Conservatives and Rats agree on other than the TSA debacle is that Debbie is a POS.
I guess you havent heard that your Michigan-based blogger isn’t welcome here either. This isn’t news anyone cares about, except you.
I seem to recall Schlussel slamming Jim Robinson and Free Republic a short while back, too.
I believe she's been designated as persona non grata around here.
Only Moronic Parents Are Waiting For Superman
I agreed with the review. Liberals and some ignorant faux conservatives gushed over this documentary. Which didn't tell us anything new about the state of American public education and left a lot out. Not honest. But then this kind of review saves one 2 hours of their life and ten bucks. And it deserved those four Marxes and an Obama!
Right. And when do conservatives agree on everything? We certainly can agree on the damage the Left has done to this country. In particular, our awful public schools into which we keep pouring money and see no return. And oh - the federal Education Department is still around.
Your memory is correct!
The witch is not welcome here. Get *that* through your head.
And anyone who has a problem with Jim Robinson and Free Republic...has a problem with me.
I thought Ms. Schlussel doesn’t want her blog to be linked in FreeRepublic (and the other way around, Jim doesn’t want a link to hers either)?

That’s the thread where Jim said no posting anything from her and why (she was boorish and rude to him, threatened to sue etc).
“Right. And when do conservatives agree on everything?”
She may be right on many issues but she is not a people person. She gets into fights with many other conservatives. If you had a blog, she’d probably come up with an excuse to twist your name and blame you for all the problems in the world.
I know this thread might get deleted. But in case it doesn’t, this “story” was funny. The whole point of the story was that DS didn’t get invited to a critic screening of “Jackass 3D”.
A commenter going by the name of Roger Ebert responded that there were NO critic screenings of Jackass 3D to be invited to. Don’t know if there was or not, but that’s funny stuff.
I never thought about trying to play my online work into free invitations to advance screening of movies, though.
