Isn’t that the same ring he wears now (or did wear, it was gone for some days a while ago).

But the ring he wears now (or did until very recently) was supposed from Indonesia, was higher karat gold than American jewelry usually is, and had much scrolly disigns on it.

so he changed the ring he wore...that elephant hair ring image is an ENLARGMENT OF HIS FINGER.

I can’t see any significance other than he wore a ring many years before he married.
