Also, please provide your source that describes a Royal Navy Chinook variant. I am unaware of the RN ever using the Chinook, much less as an ASW bird. I also can’t seem to find any mention of it on the web. Even at Airliners.net, there are almost 700 pictures of RAF Chinooks and not a single photo of an RN Chinook.

No such thing, and that wasn't what I said. The Royal Navy was putting forth the Chinook as a "best" dipping sonar platform, and this was in relation to RN deciding on/if buying a new ASW platform. Of course, the Royal Navy never had much money for anything in later years. So the RN, I expect, just stuck with the English close similar to Chinook, the Westland-something-something.

Airliners.net and chemtrail central doesn't strike me as really good sources of information.
