Boehner: GOP will move 'quickly enough' to repeal healthcare law

Speaker-designate Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Republicans will move to repeal the new healthcare law "quickly enough" after they regain House control in January.

Surrounded by the newly elected GOP leadership team for the 112th Congress, Boehner would not speculate on when exactly the bill to undo the president’s signature healthcare overhaul will come up for a vote.

What they can do is attach repeal to any legislation, including the budget, and refuse to pass it without repeal. It doesn’t matter if they pass a simple repeal. What matters is if they have the stones to let the government come to a halt over it.

I called one of our state reps and ask about the national health care insurance that was supposed to cover those with pre-existing conditions that was supposed to be available. He said he was sorry but there is NO such assistance he knows of. OBAMA LIED!

If I understand you correctly, you're referring to the 'public option'. That was not part of the final bill.

Existing health insurance offerings are no longer supposed to refuse coverage for pre-existing conditions (part of why premiums are increasing for those paying for coverage), but you said you aren't paying for health insurance.

Do you have family, friends, etc. to help you? Have you approached charitable or religious organizations?

One would hope so lest he be replaced as speaker.

They the potential to sink us better than the Rats can.

But those ‘rats in the Senate know what happens at election time - a repeat of 2010. The ‘Kennedy’ seat was lost over this.

It all depends on what the definition of the words ‘quickly enough’, is.

The majority of the incoming GOP freshmen were either TP candidates or strictly conservative which explains the November massacre for the Dems.

The RINOS are unfortunately, a majority of the INCUMBENT Pubbies’.

What I want to know is why welfare and illegals are getting like $1500 per child while you can’t afford your medicine?

Yeah. I’ll believe it when I see it. The GOP still thinks we want ObamaCare repealed and REPLACED!! We just want it REPEALED and TRASHED!!! Anything else is a problem.

All that has to be done is to REPEAL and then allow insurance companies to compete with each other in every state. Costs would necessarily decrease.

But REPEAL is first and foremost as it will plunge America into long term depression at some point in the near future with absolute certainty.

so, if Zerocare is repealed, I wonder, then do the health insurance companies have to refund those increased premiums to their customers? 'cause my insurance (private pay) has gone up a Lot!
