that’s how I see this show too. Far more Americans will relate to this show than to a bunch of Washington snobs calling Americans the enemy.

You got it absolutely. Can you picture the people in Manhattan or Washington, DC getting this show! What do you mean they club my fillet! Shock and remorse for eating, and activism to stop this abuse!
Other parts of this country will get it, applaud the show and understand.
