Why would the FAA issue a NOTAM and the navy clear the ships out of an area for a Chinese missile launch?

Are you saying there was or was not a a NOTAM and/or Notice to Mariners?

A guy looked up the NOTAM and Notice to Mariners on a radio show. I Am just being sarcastic to the Commie sub guys asking why would we issue a notices to their launch.
