The Obama Administration plans to withdraw National Guard troops from the Texas, New Mexico and California borders by the end February under a new Southwest security plan, even as turmoil in Mexican border cities grows, according to documents obtained by The Washington Examiner.

Should the Obama Administration be put on political suicide watch? First, they obnoxiously defend their obnoxious TSA 'grope American' policy. Now, they're going to pull the miniscule, phony baloney "we secure the borders" theater, by pulling back the National Guard.
Is Glenn Beck correct in that the only reasonable explanation for what Obama's doing is to "provoke us"?
I’m curious if there is a sufficient budget in this plan to provide remaining border patrols with white flags.
It would be racist to protect our borders.
I bet Obama would reinstate those troopers post haste then!
But they are going to spend 52 million on plants that were damaged at the fence
Given the results of the last election, the Democrats need all the voters they can get; ergo, the open border with Mexico.
When the NG was on the border during the Bush Administration they really had an impact they were a clear presence. I haven’t seen any of them this time except a few in Walmart.
The border states need to raise Border Protection Regiments as part of the State Guard. Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico would due that. One advantage is that local people would be there and know the regions fully. They could be armed with infantry weapons (including light machine guns), so if there is a firefight with Zetas, they could give their own.
If the Feds don’t like it, fry them.
I hate the people that dont hate zero!
“Should the Obama Administration be put on political suicide watch?”
I always thought they were only trying for one ultra-damaging term.
The administration in total is using these tactics just making it clear to us who is in charge and sadly enough "we the people" are letting them get away with it.
Posting the National Guard was a cheap one-liner for the President. TOTUS told him to say it, so he said it. It was stupid political theater before the election, and now the election is over.
The deployment was ill designed and completely ineffective anyway. Let them go home, because they’re not accomplishing anything out in the desert, anyway.
And if the DREAM Act passes, there will be no border to enforce. All any illegal has to do is walk up to the first cop he sees and claim to have a right to stay in the country while his DREAM Act eligibility is adjudicated. That process could take years. And during those years, he is granted, automatically, a Green Card and working papers, no matter how specious his claim may be.
Does anybody remember the Seinfeld episode where George did the oposite of all his normal decisions? I’m often reminded of that when I hear about a new plan by Obama. I ask myself, “What would most normal people do? OK, he will be doing the opposite.” Take this latest case in point!
This is turning into the Castanza Administration.
The democrats pretend to care about the illegals, just as they pretend to care about Blacks, so they can get their votes. If, hypothetically, there were a Constitutional Amendment passed that forbade anyone from voting unless they were born in the United States, the dems would drop any interest in amnesty in two seconds.
Riiiiiiiight.
It’s never what Obama says... it’s what he does. This little action says all that need to be said about his marxist agenda... period.
And send 6000 marines to Costa Rica for military what?
“Dismantle the TSA and send the screeners to PATROL THE SOUTHERN BORDER.
