Believe it or not, ACLU Legislative Counsel Chris Calabrese has blasted the new TSA procedures. This article posted today at Huffington Post was merciless about the excessively intrusive, ineffective and stupid TSA procedures. And these folks are general well to my left. Credit where credit is due.

A retired attorney, I have written two articles about the new procedures, here and here.

It strikes me that there is a substantial revolt in progress on the left as well as the right, that the general public is finally becoming aware of the problems with truly abusive and brainless government control and that a "tipping point" may well have been reached.

I said what I did about the ACLU because they’ve generally litigated away common sense procedures over the years and enabled this abuse to take hold. I’m just so angry. They got what they wanted and now they’re complaining?

I haven’t yet read the links you’ve posted, but I will. Right now I’m enjoying my fantasy of those who thinks that what’s happening is okay being air dropped into N. Korea.

I literally pray that you’re right that the general public has had enough and that we can stop the madness.

Thanks, I especially enjoyed your “Strip and Grope” article.

I followed the link to the TSA FAQ from the ACLU article.

One would think that the $10k fine for getting cold feet and refusing to allow yourself or your children to be molested would be worth mentioning.
