I am becoming increasingly convinced that the purpose is to so disgust the populus as to lead to a drastic decline in airline travel, cripple the private airline companies, and thereby set the stage for a goverment takeover of the entire air travel industry.
I’m not typically one to seriously take a conspiratorial view of things. But, the past history of this destructive administration over the past two short years makes this scenario quite plausible indeed.

You're right, it's called indoctrination. They want us to get used to being searched and violated. If they can acheive that goal it will be easier for them to search your car, your house, your job or any place they want.
Think about it, they start at the airport then move into the schools. These people are going to rue the day. They have crossed the line.
