Early next week, please call your Senators. The Dems set it up for a last-minute exemption of ‘family’ farms to get the greenie vote. Some of them have been fooled, for they’ll still be included.
Think of how much you’d like the Sebilius equivalent to be running the food industry (every part of it).
The hapless Rs on the Ag Committee will say that this is a big improvement over what it could have been.
Tell them that such an excuse no longer flies. They should oppose the dickens out of this thing.

At the very least, tell them to have the decency to put off a vote on this 1,000-page major-overhaul vehicle until January, 2011 so that people can read it and evaluate the true budgetary and regulatory burden.
