From just a few miles from where I live.
Oh, I wish he could have ejected. This is SO sad.
Prayers for his family, friends and loved ones..........
Damm. Not surprised, but saddened.
Prayers for sure. I wonder what happened? Medical problems? Mechanical?
Very sad, I think we all hoped he had ejected safely.
Prayers for all.
Pilot if the F-22 Raptor that crashed in Alaska was a Michigander.
Sad. God bless him.

Prayers for family and friends.
An accident investigation board is already on the case trying to find a cause. I served on several in the AF.
Controlled flight into terrain is my guess. If they found pieces of flight uniform, he's gone. I was on a recovery crew for an F-15 that went down. Glove tips, parts of boots, and tiny fragments are generally all that is left when a high-performance fighter goes down with the pilot.
Our fighting men are in danger from the training and equipment. It's the nature of the job they do. God bless them. And their families.

I admit that I don’t watch much news any more but this is the first I’ve heard of this. I’m so sorry to hear that one of our airmen has died. Very sad!
Sad. I was kind of afraid this would be the case, with no locator beacon or radio contact with the pilot since the plane went down.
If no mayday call or anything before the plane went off the radar probably means he flew into the mountain.
Instead of finding 72 virgins, this brave patriot will find peace with his maker. May G-d rest his soul.
Prayers for family and friends.
Actually the crash site is not far from Talketna AK. The A/C went down next to a stream and the ‘pit’ has water running out of it.
Gonna be even more ‘no fun’ to do the investigation/recovery work. Local news says there is a tent city there now.
Add in sud-zero weather and you get an idea of what the ground crew is dealing with.
So, if you would, say a prayer for them as well....

well... crap.
Prayers for the family and friends.
Definitely going to be a tough job for the recovery crew. I’ll be sure to ask the Good Lord to watch out for them.
"ANCHORAGE, Alaska The military says the wreckage from a missing F-22 Raptor has been found in Alaska near Denali National Park. An Air Force pilot was on a routine training mission with the F-22 Raptor when he lost contact with air traffic control at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday Alaska time."
Am posting because did a google search Here and Bing Here and there are a number of articles on it. Don't know if hoax or what, but just posting to see if anyone knows anything about it. . .
Any word on what happened to that C-17 Elmendorf lost several months ago?
