The lightning rod for rapid fielding of directed energy (DE) weapons and advanced sensors will be the militarys next-generation jammer programs that exploit technologies like active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs) antennas and high-power microwave (HPM) capabilities, say senior U.S. government and industry officials at the 13th Directed Energy Conference.
Radars on the Lockheed Martin F-22 and F-35, and Boeing F/A-18F and EA-18G, already have the potential to fire focused beams of energy as soon as funding is available to develop the necessary advanced algorithms. The U.S. Navys Next Generation Jammer program is expected to move AESA from radar applications to the world of electronic attack (EA) missions that can include DE capabilities.

Cool. New weapon, no added weight, cause it's ALREADY THERE.
All it needs is some money and some math.
I agree
ALGORITHMS: Phrases like, “The core of the Earth is MILLIONS of degrees” or “I was just there drinking tea”.
LOL!
The temperature of the core of the earth is around 9,800 °F.The range of pressure in Earth’s inner core is about 330 to 360 gigapascals
Second the LOL
Do we even understand the physics that occur at that pressure and temperature, and what type of matter is at the core?
GAYDAR is out. Due, ya know, to the DADT stuff.
Or we could just spell RADAR backwards.
ADR?
Alien Death Ray ?
I love it. Ignore the frequency limitations inherent in AESA arrays, ignore the ongoing thermal issues (AESA as is still cannot operate at full power), etc. The idea of magically creating a DC to light EW weapon out of a very nice electronically scanned (very hot running) array constrained to an octave or less bandwidth............I have to laugh, though it does ping the Buck Rogers bell..........
We really do not know. The data we have is only through earthquakes. Earthquake waves help scientists figure out the distances to each of the section of the earth’s interior. The liquid outer core surrounds the inner core and is believed to be composed of iron mixed with nickel and trace amounts of lighter elements.
Ah.... Truth is such a wonderful thing.
: )
Its true.We Really do not know. Its called an educated guess
