I’m not impressed with:

1. His advocacy and support of authentic Christianity.

2. His quisling like assertions about Islam.

3. His globalist sorts of assertions.

4. The pride competetion and other immaturities between he and Diana well before the divorce etc.

5. He has, evidently, done some wise and good things regarding his holdings and the ‘serfs’ connected with his holdings.

6. He has, on occasion, seemed to be a good sport in a lot of strange situations.

He isnt a quisling about Islam.

People in America get caught up in the ‘muzzy stuff’ and ignore that he equally has a fascination for Sikhism, Hinduism, Buddhism and religion in general.

He isnt a quisling Muslim lover, just someone who deeply believes in the power of religion and that faith in whichever faith one finds peace is a good thing.

I’m not impressed with:

1. His advocacy and support of authentic Christianity.

Well, you have to remember he's been raised in the Church of England, and that is the Church he is destined to lead. And a lot of people would say that the Church of England isn't all that authentic a Christian Church - take a look at the Archbishop of Canterbury. The Prince is a good Anglican - whether that is the same as a good Christian, is another question entirely.

Nonetheless, this is the only religious body he has any real affiliation with. He's nothing else, religiously.

2. His quisling like assertions about Islam.

The Prince tries to treat all faiths with respect. Islam is no different from Hinduism or Buddhism in his approach to it. He is going to be head of a Commonwealth that includes hundreds of millions of non-Christians, and he seeks to treat them with respect.

In terms of his attitude towards Islam - it's important to remember that for most of his life, the greatest terrorist threat he and his country have had to deal with, came from people who claim that Catholicism is part of their justification for terror. They murdered the man he was closest to in his life, outside of his immediate family - his mentor. They blew him up, alongside children - and they claim to be Catholics. The Prince does not condemn all the members of a religions for the acts committed by fanatics in its name. Instead, he's always sought to find those who do regard their religious beliefs as being ones that lead to peace. And he tries to make sure they are the ones who have the most power, the most influence.

3. His globalist sorts of assertions.

A lot of them aren't really his own, but come from having to work within the paramaters of supporting Her Majesty's Government - but consider that his nation is now no longer the world power it was in its own right, but remains the centre of a Commonwealth of 54 sovereign nations with about a fourth of the worlds population and that where its influence lies, and a globalist attitude of sorts becomes, I think more understandable. He is going to be the Head of that body one day - a position of unique influence across the world. He will be King of sixteen countries - not just of one.

4. The pride competetion and other immaturities between he and Diana well before the divorce etc.

I've no real argument with you on this one. He made some tremendous mistakes in his marriage, and while the Princess did as well, he was older and should have been the more responsible of the two. But he was also put under incredible pressures that most people would never be expected to deal with.

5. He has, evidently, done some wise and good things regarding his holdings and the ‘serfs’ connected with his holdings.

He genuinely wants to make things better for people. And he has the ability to do so - the resources, the money, the influence. He doesn't always get it right, but he's always trying.

6. He has, on occasion, seemed to be a good sport in a lot of strange situations.

He has a great - in sometimes rather esoteric sense of humour, and he's utterly dedicated to his role. I've stood metres from the man as somebody ran towards him firing a pistol and he stood there, ready to face whatever he had to face. No fear. No panic. Just - this is my duty. This is what I may have to deal with. Thank God, it was a starting pistol wielded by a disturbed young man and not a serious attempt. But I know I couldn't have done it.
