Here we are, just about to turn the corner into the hap-happiest season of all kicked off as always with the bus-busiest day of the year at American airports. But air travel in late 2010 is anything but jolly these days.
There are many, many things wrong with our current airport security situation. Weve got groping, weve got leering, weve got radiation and how about Muslim screeners frisking nuns (above)! If we didnt know better, we might think that Janet Napolitano, (not) affectionately known as Big Sis, and her TSA goonies are actively trying to foment an airport security revolution. I hope to heaven we do revolt, because the situation has gone from ridiculous to dangerous.
There may be one solution to the problem. Did you know that your local airport can opt out of TSA and contract for security with the private sector? Win win win! And there are calls to eliminate the TSA altogether. But until America wakes up and smells the sanity coffee its crazy out there.

Right out of the gate, a question not being asked by the MSM (naturally) is who is benefiting from the widespread use of these new body scanners? Well, George Soros, of course. We already knew that if its detrimental to human liberty, Soros is all for it now we know that hes lining his pockets with our shredded freedom, as (at least) some Canadian journalists recognize. (This article also notes the irony in the name of these scanners: Rapiscan. Sounds a little like Rape-a-scan, no?) Anyway, U.S. Congressman John Duncan of Tennessee outed another recipient of body scanner largess on the House Floor.

All the outrage suddenly comes out over the last month but is this going to change anything? The thing about corrupt people in high places is that they can get away with anything forever. Citizens can protest a private company but few DARE complain when the glorious government wants to touch your child’s penis for “national security”.
Your post does not make any sense.
Nobody is condemning Delta. Lots of people are condemning the TSA.
BEST part.
I didn’t say anything about Delta.
Great poster. You should print it out and post in the airport!
Frying pan.........fire
In October, I flew from Houston to Phoenix. During the pre-flight shakedown, the TSA goon informed me that I could not board with a can of Right Guard in my carryon luggage ‘becuase it was a fluid in excess of 1 ounce’. I was presented with the choice of either checking the carryon bag ( AND paying the charge ) or having the can confiscated.
When I asked to speak with his supervisor to complain about this ridiculousness, I was informed that there was no appeal possible and that I was simply guaranteeing that I would, at least, miss my flight ( not due to take off for over 90 minutes ) if I insisted on pressing for such an appeal once it started.
For the sake of my wife and mother-in-law’s peace of mind ( we were all flying to a family wedding ), I ultimately gave in and tossed the can into the waste bin they so thoughtfully provided nearby.
I won’t even mention the hoo-ha my wife was subjected to when the metal detector went off due to her hip implants. Actually, since this all happened before the present regime of Rape-a-Scan viewing and goon-groping, she probably got off relatively lightly.
Come Spring, if this madness persists, I expect I will miss our planned trip to Baltimore when our nephew gets his M.D. from Johns Hopkins.
