Please, dear G*d, don’t let him say anything else that defends TARP, amnesty, or socialized medicine.
I increasingly think the critics of TARP should not be characterized as fiscally conservative.
It is one of the view government programs in history to:
1. Come to an end
2. Be paid back— quickly too
3. Be paid back with interest
If other government programs even met one of these awesome fiscally conservative criteria, it would be impressive. The fact that it does this while enacting one of the largest government expenditures in history is equally staggering.
He already did defend that crap to Rush, who did not challenge him.
I remember when Bush and Lindsey “I’m going to tell the bigots to shut up” Grahamnesty tried to legalize millions upon millions of new Democratic voters. Thank God we adverted that disaster.
Why would President Bush try to defend Reagan’s amnesty?
