I was afraid of that. This truly makes me heart sick. Can’t imagine what the father is going through.
And no witnesses.
However, I'm sure it will be at least a year before it goes to trial (probably much longer). Then, another 15 or more years of state appeals, then federal habeas appeals. Perhaps in 20-25 years, justice will be meted out. How is that "fair"?
What tragic news.
It was too much to think they were still alive but there was a chance.
Hope there is some trace evidence so they can nail the murdering slimeball.

Whatever this guy’s sentence/prison term was, it was too short to protect these poor innocent people. Arson is among the most serious of crimes since it always endangers the lives of others. Someone who commits arson should spend the rest of his life locked up.
This looks like a premeditated and planned act to abduct the little girl. She is lucky and likely would have ended up murdered too. He is a cold blooded monster who may get ventilated in prison by his fellow inmates long before he gets the state’s justice.

He’ll rot in death row for 30 years, then the Ohio Supreme Court will decide that the method of execution is “cruel and unusual” or “not proven” or some such. Just like happened here in California recently when the idiots on the bench decided the execution “cocktail” for a 30 year death row inmate was “unsafe.”
Agreed. The solution to the injustice of our liberal-dominated courts is to put these people in general population. Then let human nature take its course.
