As an added note Jon Stewart is on channel 85 of my cable service. Channel 85 is the same channel that brings Comedy Central. That says it all.

Yes, on re-reading the post, I realized that Stewart seemed to have a little decency here. However, it could also be a sense of just what has flattened some very popular people in the past. There is a time when they may have just gone too far. Then their so-called fans end up joining in a witch hunt, calling for their removal.
I am bearing in mind the Imus case and way, way back poor Howard Cossell. Well, hard to say this, but he may have the benefit of the doubt here.
