Apparently Soros is so convinced he has won that he feels safe in bragging about how he does it.

I hope he is wrong, but the signs are bad.

The Old Sod is getting older and he wants credit. He isn’t doing it for the money, but for game and the glory. He NEEDS the world to know he is the one responsible so he can bask in his wonderfulness before he dies.

I watched the video at the link provided, and I found it reassuring.

Soros is so full of himself; he thinks that he's omniscient just because he outwitted a bunch of stupid central planners in England and elsewhere. An old curmudgeon like yourself won't be impressed by that, right?

Soros has, as I understand it, actually stated publicly, or at least hinted in public, that he is a deity. His demeanor in the video certainly seems consistent with that view.

But he's a fool. He doesn't know what he's talking about, and that fact is obvious to anyone who's thought processes aren't corrupted by gargantuan self-regard. Like so many before him, he has achieved success in one area of life, and he pleasures himself by abstracting that success into the belief that he can talk about subjects about which he knows no more than you or I and be correct in everything he says. His view of history, his blather about the rightness of Karl Marx, is just a rehash of the lumpen intellectualism he grew up with back in the post-war period. It's nothing new, and it certainly doesn't make any more sense because George Soros says it then it did when Karl Marx said it, or when John Kenneth Galbraith said it, or when Barack Obama's childhood mentors and professors at Columbia and Harvard said it.

I really kind of feared Soros as some sort of mastermind before watching that video. I don't any more.

He's got a lot of money, and that may be a problem. The U.S. Government controls a lot of money too, and the guy who runs the U.S. Government is trying everything he and his pals can think of to impose George Soros' world-view on us. Is that working out for them? Why did they get the crap kicked out of them on November second?
