Not watching TV or listening to the radio for more than a few minutes at a time, it’s heartening to know I’m not inventing unreasonable conclusions to the world around us these days...

I find I often invent more unreasonable conclusions the more TV I watch.

I probably should say that I don't think Gibson was specifically talking about the "Crotch Bomber", (at least when I was listening) but rather, using profiling as a means to more efficiently determine which passengers should be subjected to more invasive screenings and/or detention.
