Steele should go if the GOP wants to be a majority. He has a tin ear and he’s not a good manager and leader.

However, gaining the majority is not likely the goal of the Rino controlled GOP. We saw that as the Rinos worked together to defeat Tea Party canidates, sacrificing the majority in the Senate. Steele did not have it within him to slap the Rinos down and win the Senate majority in spite of them.

If the actions of the RNC are any guide to their intentions, it would seem that the burden of governing is often too much for the GOP elites.

It gets in the way of business as usual with their corrupt pals across the aisle. The GOP ideal would seem to be a strong enough safe-seat minority to ensure that their teams get a fair enough share of the swag.

Repeal The 17th Amendment and get some real people in the Senate who must answer to local representatives of the people.

No question, they’d rather be in the minority getting a smaller share of the pork than have honest politicians with principles win the elections and give them the boot.
