I agree, and it makes me wonder if this whole scanner thing isn’t a nudge to try to get enough of us to openly revolt in a violent way so they have a reason to rein us in tightly.

Look at how they are pushing amnesty now, while telling the public the “first priority is jobs and the economy”. How do you take back citizenship once you have given it to millions in on fell swoop?

Yes, imho, that was a very strange reaction on Obama’s part. “Doubling down” in this current environment is absolutely ludicrous. Here’s hoping that the One’s comments were not nefarious, but just plain vanilla stupid.
