I can’t even get indignant anymore. No matter how much of the back-and-forth political theater we are treated to, this country is already leaning over the cliff and just needs a firm shove to send it careening into space. The shove could come in so many ways-ammesty, drastic economy meltdown, another terror attack, or just the drip-drip of Chinese water torture of PC enactments to which most are already inured if not celebratory, wearing away our individual rights and liberty, while desensitising us to immorality unthinkable just decades ago. Undermining the churches with the “social gospel” just as they undermined academia with “social justice” until it’s the norm and true Bible-believing Christians are “dangerous extremists” and “radical fundamentalists”, to be confused with the Islamic version which is murderous. I’m still voting, that’s all there is, but my eyes are looking above.

Ghailani was acquitted on 224 murder charges in connection with the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. He was found guilty for only one charge of conspiracy to destroy government buildings.
