I agree about her negatives being too high. Would she be a better President than Obama - yes, by a factor of one million because she actually loves this country and has a record of executive experience. She has common sense and could well be smarter than Obama, as there is ZERO actual evidence of his purported “brilliance”.

I don’t think the Reagan analogy works in this day and age. Reagan was despised by the ultra-left but he had been a very successful 2 term governor of the biggest state in the country, active on the national scene for decades, and was an elder of his political party. Palin has nowhere near his body of accomplishment, plus the MSM has skewed even farther left and there are forces at work now (like all the Soros organizations) actively working to destroy the country and people like Palin. Look at how they abused that “ethics” process up in Alaska to harrass her. Look at how her e-mail was hacked. It’s a different era.

I keep hearing Palin’s “negative numbers” are too high. Please be more specific. To wit: Spell out her ngatives and provide a source or sources from which these alleged negatives came from.

Have you ever had a conversation with Gov. Palin—or even gotten close enough to her to smell her perfume? I think not.

Are you a libertarian or Romney-bot any chance?

wow...What an excellant analysis!

You will be flamed by the Palin fans...and while I really like her, while she would be infinitely better than Obama and Hillary, she is facing a very different time and you point out the factors I see.

the Tea Party is strong, but not enough to push her over the edge...and the whole campagin will be about making fun of her..the old alinsky “isolate and ridcule” as they have done already. Reagen did not have that in this intense 24/7 media way.

Reagan was despised by the GOP ruling class, the same as Palin and any tea party type candidate. The GOP was doing everything they could to stop Reagan, it worked until Carter. The ruling class wants to rule, whether or not they are in the majority or not. They want the perks, the social scene and the Sunday shows. They want to be viewed as ‘important’.

They don’t want their gravy train to end (dems and repubs). The tea party is a threat because, we’re going to stop their partying. There are too many of us, and they are running scared. Beware, they’ll talk the talk, but watch their actions. We’ve been fighting these bastards for decades. Palin knows it, Reagan knew it, and the teaparty gets it. It’s so long ruling class, and they aren’t too happy about it.
