Pedro Ramirez, Fresno State's student body president, is an undocumented immigrant serving in the position without pay.
Ramirez, 23, attends school on scholarships and pays in-state tuition. California is one of 10 states that permit undocumented immigrants to pay in-state tuition -- a position that was upheld by the state Supreme Court this week.
After his election last June, he told the administration he would serve without pay -- a $9,000 stipend -- because he could not lie on employment papers. On Tuesday, an anonymous tip to the college newspaper forced Ramirez to go public.

“is an undocumented immigrant serving in the position without pay”.
...No. He’s an “illegal immigrant”! He is in this country illegally. He has committed a crime. He needs to be yanked from his little president chair, thrown into the back of a police cruiser and sent to a holding cell where he can await deportation.

Yup, dogs are gonna love this south-of-the-border treat, even if it is a cheap cut and the meat is all torn up because of the Devastators.

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.

It just naturally follows - all too often - that beyond their first disregard for due process - the illegals have little respect for any of our laws - when they are inconvenienced by them.

What about the students who ran for the same position and lost out?

The Feds only go after people who try to enforce the laws, not break them. Compare the reaction of the Feds in this decision to their reaction in AZ.

.... Pedro Ramirez ... is an undocumented immigrant ....
No he is not.
Pedro Ramirez is not any kind of “immigrant,” he is a criminal alien migrant.
And must be arrested, charged, convicted fined and/or incarcerated — and deported!

They keep telling us the poor, miserable illegals are cringing in the shadows, terrified of deportation. Yet over and over we read articles like this, where some illegal is practically bragging about his status, and absolutely nothing is done.

“What about the students who ran for the same position and lost out?”
Sounds like excellent grounds for federal civil lawsuits.
The second place candidate could sue California for $9,000.
A rejected scholarship student could sue for tuition reimbursement.
A rejected applicant could sue for immediate admission to the university.

When I came to California from Washington I had to pay outrageous out of state tuition fees which completely drained my funds to below poverty level. FYI - All of my mothers family lived in California and half of my dad's. Everyone of them productive taxpayers and most are veterans. I was screwed royally but accepted it. In any case, giving in-state tuition to illegals or their anchor babies is criminal.
