This is also desensitization and encroachment on boundaries. “Nudging”...first they just went through our stuff, then we had to remove our shoes, now this and...what next? Each thing is just a little bit more...a little more taxation, a few cents tax here and there, inspecting your car, your home, etc. The war on tobacco is the model they will follow on everything. First just warnings, then no smoking in restaurants, then taxes to pay for damages and finding villains, etc. etc. We all know how it has gone. They go on these campaigns and never seem to stop. They wear us down and make it easier to just go along, much like a nagging child does to get what he wants. Citizens need to practice some tough love and saying NO to our busybody government and safety freaks.
