The last poll I saw showed her last among Pubs running against Obozo. [CITATION NEEDED]
I've seen polls that show her kicking everybody's asses.
If polls are so accurate, why do we even bother with elections?

FWIW, I think the most talented politicians out there with potential drawing power are 1. Sarah Palin 2. Marco Rubio 3. Paul Ryan and 4. Jim DeMint. Sarah with Rubio would help with the Latino vote + he's 'got it' like Sarah. . so does Ryan. . Jeb Bush is talented too, but says he doesn't want to run and people say the 'Bush baggage' would sink him - by 2012 the country may be begging for a Bush. . .

IMHO, in a perfect world, the next White House would be:
President Chris Christie
Vice President Mitch McDonell
Chief of Staff Sarah Palin
DHS Secretary Bobby Jindal
Secretary of Defense General Petraeus
Secretary of Treasury Mitt Romney
Secretary of State Rudy Giuliani
Secretary of Health Ron Paul

Maybe it’s due to getting older. Maybe it’s due to the recent occupants of the office, but I no longer hold the Office of President in the respect and esteem I held it in my youth.
If the occupant shares many of my political views- good enough.
Therefore, I would be very satisfied to see Palin as President.
But- I don’t believe she can win. I see today no possibility that she can win 270 Electoral votes in 2012.
I believe a second Obama Administration could be fatal to the prominence of the United States.
I’m not picky this time. I support almost anyone but Obama- on one condition. That that Republican nominee can beat him.
Today that person is not Palin.

Anyone who has read Palin's autobiography knows that she has brilliant political instincts. People underestimate her at their own peril. Besides that, I remember a few years ago when most people thought that this community organizer and half-term senator from Illinois with the funny name was unelectable. You never know what can happen in politics.
