Supports a path to citizenship, but no amnesty for illegals
Q: Should undocumented immigrants all should be deported?
A: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant—there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants—not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue.
Q: So you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
A: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

Has not often expressed views on illegal immigration
Immigration: Being that her state only borders Canada and is thousands of miles from the Mexican border, Palin has not often expressed her views publicly on illegal immigration.

Immigrants want more vocational training & senior assistance
Q: The state has seen big growth of minority and immigrant populations, specifically Latinos & Southeast Asians. What sort of outreach has your campaign done?
A: I have reached out to all these communities and asked them to identify their needs. Their response has been for more vocational training, senior assistance, ending gang violence, and more state outreach and communication with their communities. One of the key components of my internal campaign is a diversity task force. I turn to them often.

What do you call it if you don't enforce the laws, and don't deport them, but, let them stay????
Do you have a link to an article quoting her on it. I haven’t heard her say it.
You (and a handful of others) can continue to pretend she's interested in amnesty all you want, but it's not what she says, she's interested in doing whatever it takes to secure the border.
I kind of like that.
I found something:
Regardless of whether it is the southern border or the northern border, America has a paramount need to protect and secure our borders albeit with fencing, surveillance, personnel, or equipment.
Seems kind of vague. Don’t we already use a bit of each?
Interview with Lars Larson on 12/3/09:
LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.
LARS: You heard the story that Governor Huckabee signed the clemency that allowed this cop killer to be out of prison if you had the chance to talk to Huckabee about that decision that he madethat he now says, I had no way to see the future what would you say?
SP: Well, it was a bad decision, but my heart goes out to Huckabee. I feel bad for him to be in this position, but I feel even worse for the families in this situation. I feel bad for Huckabee, but this was a horrible decision that he made.
LARS: Did you give any pardons or clemency as Governor of Alaska?
SP: No, and most Alaskans know me well enough that I dont have a whole lot of mercy for the bad guys. Im on the good guys’ side. Im all about redemption, recovery and reform and all that but I will always err on the side of punishing even stricter, even harder of the bad guys.
LARS: When I said you would be on the show today, somebody said, ‘Is she in favor of offshore drilling?’ ... You’re in favor of getting America’s oil out of the ground, where it’s on the land or in the ocean, right?
SP: Oh, hell yeah. God created it underfoot for our use, to make out world better and safer and more prosperous. I just hate what we are doing when we are importing energy supplies from foreign regimes that hate America when we have those supplies here. Alaska has hundreds of trillions of cubic feet of natural gas, we have billions of barrels of oil on and off-shore. The environmentalists who wont let us to do it and Congress and Obama that will not let us tap these domestic resources, these are immoral steps that theyre taking to not allow us to rely domestically on our own resources.

Disregard my #165, the material on that page didn’t match up with the google search.
If you let the illegals stay, WHAT DO YOU CALL IT?
If she runs for president, she'll have to put down a lot of specifics, but until then I'm happy with what I hear her say the intent is of future policy.
If her specifics don't match her intent, I'll come around to agreeing with you.
Until then, you're just speculating she doesn't have the will to go from the general to the specific.
:-)
It wasn’t shouting, it was emphasis. Next time I’ll use boldface of that makes you feel better.
She has been quoted as saying that we can’t round up all the illegals and deport them. However, she says she would give them 60 days to register with the government. O’Riley asked what happens when they don’t register and she replied, then you round them up and deport them.
You can watch the interview here, not quite half way down.
If it isn’t possible to deport them right away, what makes it more possible after 60 days?
I heard that interview, O'Reilly never let her talk through anything (he rarely does with anyone), never let her finish, just kept moving her on. Like I said, if she runs, she'll have specifics that you can look at, until then you're just going to continue saying (and assuming) something you don't know is true, just because you want to.
What good does that do anyone?
Like I said, you are just going to say what you are saying based on nothing. I guess you think that helps someone, but for the life of me I can’t figure out who.....Why don’t you deal with a real threat? Like this one: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2629042/posts
Are you the other member of the Falcon Party?
Daniels has told social conservatives to “sit down and shut up”.
Daniels is a RINO.
Period.
Why do you consider that a threat? Palin is for ‘path to citizenship’. Why is it a threat from Obama but ok if it comes from Palin?
Considering that I haven’t heard of the Falcon Party, I would say no.
Lame-Duck Amnesty

Immigration Policy: Forget about jobs and tax cuts, high priorities for American citizens. Lame-duck lawmakers, at the president’s urging , will concentrate on a “path to citizenship” for the children of illegal aliens.
Q: So you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
A: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

And the difference is.......
*Ponders who to believe*
I don't think I'm going to choose you....no offense........
Like I said, keep jabbering on, you'll be a great addition to the Falcon Party......just think....a second member......
