I say we start profiling!
Good for them.
I agree, but will we ever see it happen?
If the gov’t was serious about airport security they’d have the Israelis show them the ropes.
But of course our gov’t is not serious, it is ridiculous, and so they will continue to let Achmed go through, while they frisk Grama.
It sure isn’t going to change until at least 2013.
We need to clear the muzzies out of the White House first.
Emulate the Israelis and also fire Big Sis.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated...
What's hard to understand about that?
They could do this screening much more easily. Have a tray with small cubes of cooked ham on it. Offer each passenger a cube. If he eats it, wave him through. If he says he's Jewish and does not eat pork, show him a card with the text of Deuteronomy 6.4-5 on it (in Hebrew)...if he can read it, wave him through.
Voila! No danger of terrorists getting on board.
I guess vegetarians can be offered a crayon and given a coloring book with cartoons of the prophet--if they color one, they're allowed to pass.
In Israel, they ask you a bunch of questions to get a feel for your personality.
They will eat pork just like Al Gore guzzles gasoline. It’s all good for the cause.
“I say we start profiling!”
They already are, US.
EASY FIX:
Pass a bill requiring all bureaucrats and all elected officials other than the president to travel by commercial airline and go through the same TSA screening as every other passenger. The bill should specifically prohibit prohibit any shortcuts, priveleged or preferential treatment.
TSA will dismantle the the entire process in a NY minute.
1. Arm the pilots.
2. Secure the cockpits (to give the pilots time to face the door with a drawn gun).
3. Anonymous sky marshalls (no "sky marshall suits" that are easy to spot).
4. A fight back attitude from the passengers.
We've long since gotten the passenger attitude adjustment. I believe the cockpit doors have long been improved, also. We just need less stupid management above the sky marshalls, and have the government get the hell out of the way, in letting the pilots arm themselves.
The TSA costs many billions in lost productivity, and does little more than piss off millions of travelers.
And here, the TSA “gets a feel” and doesn’t care at all about personalities.
: )
Just say NO to TSA sexual assaults.
The Skys are way too friendly.

You are right and People that “work for us” call the shots here.
“Pass a bill requiring all bureaucrats and all elected officials other than the president to travel by commercial airline and go through the same TSA screening as every other passenger.”
Like that Cynthia McKinney loon, “Do you know who I am?”
How’s about we require the TSA to screen everybody going into any governmental building the same way they screen us. No exceptions.
“You are right and People that work for us call the shots here.”
Time to start firing the hired help and more of the elected who don’t realize they are also hired help.
