Dozens of far-right activists and local residents threw eggs and taunted hundreds of Muslim immigrants as they gathered to pray in a central square for Eid al-Adha surrounded by a protective cordon of riot police.
Greece, which has become the main immigrant gateway to the European Union, has a growing Muslim community and tensions between locals and incomers have run high in some Athens areas such as Attiki square, the scene of Tuesday's incident.

I’m no fan of Greeks, who tend to be arrogant about their “pure” form of Orthodox Christianity, but they suffered for centuries under Ottoman rule beginning with the sacking of Constantinople in 1453 and the desecration of the Hagia Sophia basilica into a mosque.
That Greeks are fighting back against Muslims literally in the streets of cities in Greece is a hopeful sign that a Christian people can stand up against Islam with a hope of victory.
The Christian counterattack has got to start somewhere. If there are “good Muslims” in Christendom, then they have been weighed and found wanting in the war of Islam against the “kuffar” world. Time for them to go home where Sharia will make them more comfortable without all those thoughtless “kafirs” about.
It would just take one country to actually expel the saracens, even Greece, to start to turn this thing around.

Define “fine” in relation to muslims.
I will only believe in the existence of “fine” muslims if I see them in the street protesting or appologizing for the wanton slaughter of Christians in Iraq and other muslim countries.
Muslims, by definition, follow the Koran.
The Koran dictates Sharia law.
Sharia law, by definition, is incompatible with Western values.
There is no middle ground. The “fine” Muslims you may know or think exist in reality are only getting by and putting up with you. As their numbers grow their demands will increase. It’s happening all across Europe. It will happen here if it’s not stopped.

So Reuters wants to make the muslims victims as they stick their fingers into the eyes of the Greeks? They are praying in public as a show of force and to force the building of mosques.
