Woman in Mercedes killed in Beverly Hills

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (KABC) -- Police said a woman driving a Mercedes-Benz was shot to death in her car in Beverly Hills early Tuesday morning.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Authorities responded to a 911 call on the 800 block of North Whittier Drive, near Sunset Boulevard, just before 12:30 a.m. Residents in the area had reported hearing several gunshots fired.
Moments later, a second 911 call reported a solo car crash.

An article in the NY Daily News has a little more info. The woman was white and in her ‘60s. And there were at least two reports of multiple gunshots in the Benedict Canyon area at about that time — another ritzy area not that far from the crime scene.

Seriously, a car that expensive should have a fairly bulletproof cage around it. It does not take too much
to stop the standard gangbanger 9mm.
If I lived in an area where trash like that is common and had enough cash to afford such a car, I’d have it installed.
