Those "rights" for illegals plus the lock-step mormon vote assured that dingy harry would still be in the driver's seat in the Senate.
Pragmatism, you bet. Keep the highest-ranked mormon in the government in place and assure the continuation of tithing from illegals pouring into mormon church coffers. not to mention the pool of illegals available for mormon missions.
